Nicolo Rivolta

Focusing on U.S. business immigration, Nicolo provides long-term strategy planning to foreign nationals and helps them understand our nation’s complex immigration laws.

He works with a diverse set of employers, from start-ups and small businesses to multinational corporations. He represents clients across a broad range of industries, including biotechnology, scientific publishing, engineering, arts and entertainment.

Nicolo has been successful in obtaining favorable results representing clients in employment-based immigrant visas, including petitions for individuals of Extraordinary Ability in the Sciences as well as Outstanding Researchers. He has experience in employment-based nonimmigrant visas, including H-1B, TN, J-1 and O-1.

With a unique combination of both personal and professional experience, Nicolo is also knowledgeable in the intricate regulations and unwritten best practices revolving around Curricular and Optional Practical Training, STEM and non-STEM, for international students in F-1 status.

Originally from Milan, Italy, Nicolo personally understands the obstacles and frustrations involved in navigating our complex immigration system.

Community Involvement

  • While in law school, Nicolo served as an intern for a local non-profit. He helped survivors of domestic abuse in securing legal status through U and T visa applications as well as Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) immigrant visa applications.
