Our Employee Benefits Group helps our clients retain and attract talent by designing, implementing and administering employee benefit and executive compensation plans. We guide them in choosing the best type of plan, including equity compensation, phantom and bonus incentive plans. Our clients include corporations, tax exempt entities, trustees and other plan fiduciaries, plan committees and plan participants.
We manage Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Code requirements. We also have extensive experience advising employers on designing deferred compensation plans to comply with IRC 409A.
As special benefits counsel, we advise purchasers and sellers on benefits and compensation considerations involved in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reductions in force.
