Violeta Petrova

Violeta represents corporate clients with all aspects of U.S. immigration, helping clients successfully navigate organizational growth and scale-up, legal and corporate changes, including reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.  Violeta provides customized, solutions-based approaches, partnering closely with corporate stakeholders to develop a comprehensive assessment of each client’s profile, preferences, risk tolerance and corporate culture.  Her experience ranges across multiple sectors, including biotech and pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services, technology, and graphic/digital design.  She counsels clients on immigration program management, company policy development, compliance, and customized program development and implementation, including for frequent/extended business travelers, remote workers/future-of-work, rotational programs, and summer intern programs. She also provides trainings, webinars and Town Halls for business stakeholders and employees.

  • Requesting waivers of two-year home residency requirement for J-1 exchange visitors
  • Advising clients with respect to the scope and limitations of B-1 business visas
