Tao Li is an Associate in Gibney’s Immigration Practice Group where she practices in the area of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law, concentrating in employment-based immigration.
Ms. Li has experience advising global companies and foreign nationals on nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, PERM labor certification process, employment and family-based adjustment of status petitions, naturalization, and humanitarian forms of immigration relief such as Asylum, VAWA, DACA, T Visa, and SIJS. Ms. Li has worked with clients from a broad range of industries, including technology, finance, arts, athletics, and fashion.
Prior to joining Gibney, Ms. Li practiced business and family immigration law at a boutique law firm in New York. Her experience also includes non-profit work on behalf of survivors of human trafficking, domestic abuse and violence.
