Meredith Mazzola is a partner in the Tax and Employee Benefits and Private Client Practice Groups. Ms. Mazzola handles a wide range of Federal, State and International tax matters for a variety of clients from multinational corporations to individuals. Ms. Mazzola has experience in corporate reorganizations, interpretation of 409A and general ERISA matters, and partnership taxation. Ms. Mazzola advises clients on a number of international tax matters including inbound and outbound tax planning for expatriates, issues relating to controlled foreign corporations, permanent establishment, and treaty benefits. Ms. Mazzola also has experience in estate and gift tax planning for resident and non-resident aliens, including using advance estate planning tools such as intentionally defective grantor trusts.
Ms. Mazzola received her LLM from New York University. She also holds a JD from California Western School of Law and a BA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
