Deanna Chea is an Associate in Gibney’s Immigration Practice Group. She has experience advising corporate and individual clients on non-immigrant and immigrant visas, the PERM labor certification process, employment and family-based adjustment of status petitions, and naturalization. Ms. Chea has worked with clients from a broad range of industries, including technology, education, food manufacturing, and legal services.
Prior to joining Gibney, Ms. Chea practiced immigration law at a boutique firm in San Francisco, California. In law school, she participated in the UC Hastings’ Startup Legal Garage, where she advised early stage startup companies on corporate legal matters. Ms. Chea also externed for the Honorable Judge Clifton B. Newman at the South Carolina Circuit Court and served as a Law Clerk for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
