Rebecca Cooper-Bayne

Rebecca assists clients in navigating evolving immigration laws and policies, and facilitating immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based visa petitions.

She prepares responses for complex USCIS requests for evidence, and has drafted motions, appeals, and petitions for review to USCIS, the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals and Court of Appeals. She has experience litigating cases before the Executive Office for Immigration Review on behalf of clients seeking Asylum and Cancellation of Removal.

Rebecca has represented youth seeking Asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, and Adjustment of Status, both affirmatively and in removal defense. She has also litigated petitions in family court such as guardianship and custody and represented clients before USCIS and the Asylum Office in their applications for relief.

Rebecca’s past experience includes working as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Department of Justice, Attorney General Honor’s Program, Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
