Aisling Ryan is primarily involved in assisting large multinational financial services clients in immigrant and nonimmigrant employment based visas. Her work involves all aspects of preparing and strategizing visa petitions, with a focus on a variety of legal issues. Ms. Ryan has represented clients in obtaining approval in H-1B, L-1A, L-1B and E-3 visa petitions as well as TN applications under the North America Free Trade Agreement, and E Treaty Trader/Investor visas. She has also assisted corporate clients in obtaining J-1 and H-3 training visas for management associates and other corporate trainees. Ms. Ryan has considerable experience in assisting business persons of extraordinary ability in O-1 and EB-1 extraordinary ability petitions, as well as I-140 petitions for multinational managers. She has also guided clients through the PERM labor certification process, and EB-2 and EB-3 green card applications.
As well as being admitted to the New York Bar, Ms. Ryan is a qualified Solicitor in Ireland, and previously practiced immigration law in Dublin. There, she assisted individual clients in their business immigration needs, and represented Asylees before the Refugee Appeals Tribunal and in judicial review proceedings in the Irish High Court. She was a Board Member of the Irish Refugee Council from 2003 until 2006. In New York, she undertook professional career training with Human Rights First, where she worked with Asylees in the Refugee Protection Program. She has also provided pro bono representation to clients in New York in immigration petitions under the Violence Against Women Act.
